Do you want to record music or do you have recordings you would like to get mixed?
I would love to help you with that.
I have about 20 years of experience in recording and mixing a variety of musical genres.
Ranging from recording entire bluegrass bands to mixing gothic rock, and everything in between.
For recordings I bring my gear to your place of choice and record there.
I've recorded in rehearsal spaces, living rooms, kitchens, office buildings, and studios.
I use my studio mainly for mixing but it is possible to record here as well.
Just not full bands.
From time to time I use it to record singer-songwriters or other small ensembles.
You can record individual instruments here too, and as loud as you want!
Are you on a fixed budget?
Together we'll figure out what's possible within that budget (usually quite a lot).
Recording and mixing inquiries:
F.A.Q.
No, I prefer to leave that to the professionals. I'm not a mastering engineer. But I can advise you on picking a mastering engineer or explain why mastering usually is a good investment.
Yes, I can. I love being part of the creative process.
Yes, I do. But to be honest I rarely use it. It's usually better to get the recording right than to 'fix it in the mix'. Most of the time there's an underlying reason a musician can't hit a certain note or sings or plays out of key. When recording I see it as part of the job to get to the bottom of that and resolve it.
Wellington. I Googled it.
